The Series 5000i
The S5000i is an add-on program to the Series 5000 System . With the S5000i, users can access information in the Inquiry and Pay/No-Pay modules of the S5000 system from a branch office or other remote location using a secure Web browser.
Inquiry Module via Web
Through the remote access enabled by S5000i, a user
can obtain:
The account record.
The signer record and signature image of all signers
on an account.
The signature card document.
Any other signature documents, such as corporate
resolutions, driver's license, immigration cards, etc.
By accessing the Inquiry module via the Web, a
remote user in a branch location may inquire into an account to obtain
an image of the signatures on that account, to obtain account information
and restrictions on that account, or to review images of auxiliary documents
associated with that account.
Shown below is a typical Web inquiry for signatures
on an account. Notice that the User ID is validated before access is granted.
Other features include:
Updated/added signatures are instantly available
to remote users.
Instant messages to branches — for stolen checks,
etc. — are available.
Original signature cards (in date order) and auxiliary
documents (such as corporate resolutions) are instantly available.
Unlimited number of signers.
Up to 4 signers shown at a time.
Account record shown on every screen.
Pay/No-Pay module via Web
With the S5000i's remote access, remote personnel at
the branch of record may review an item instantly via a secure Web browser,
as soon as the computer detects a possible error or fraud condition. Items
may then be adjudicated remotely and the results of branch decisions are
instantly available on managerial reports.
This remote access to the Pay/No-Pay module
offers such benefits as:
The branch of record (which might be anywhere in
the world) has access to full automation of check images — from
the receipt of the image to final disposition.
Via secure Web browser, remote users have instant
access to signatures, account information, and archives (such as back-up
documents, older signature cards, etc.).
There is a dramatic reduction in labor compared to
faxing items to branches, and a dramatic improvement in the time it
takes for branches to receive image data.
A comprehensive audit trail of questionable items
and resulting decisions.
