The Series 5000 System

The S5000 system features:

Check-handling made more efficient, easier and more economical.

  • Check images are easier to handle and read than paper.
  • Checks images are available earlier than paper checks.
  • Speed of processing is significantly better compared to a manual system.
  • Computer review of all items is conducted prior to human review.
  • Images may be grouped by customer.

Excellent tracking and reporting.

  • Reporting available with S5000 is excellent, and includes:
  • Management reports
  • Item accounting
  • Disposition records
  • Research reports
  • Employee activity reports
  • Decision actions
  • Every image is assigned a tracking number, so no image can be lost.

Processes designed to support and enhance your processes.

  • Operator actions, such as making a disposition decision, are recorded by the system.
  • The ability to "learn" the characteristics of your customers' checks, allowing for more and more automation of the verification process over time.
  • Multiple runs — each with a different selection and handling procedure based on customer-type groups — may be processed throughout the day.
  • Offshore resources may be applied using the remote capability of the S5000i add-on package.
  • Capacity can be increased to allow for more items without adding more people.
  • Review processes are tightly controlled. Every item is reviewed the same way each day by both the computer and human operators.

State-of-the-art technical implementation and standards.

  • Images are Check 21-compliant, including the management of IRDs.
  • All checks, signatures and documents in TIFF format.
  • Smooth parallel transformation from S3000 (Vector 12/SQN) systems and/or older DATAVISION systems.
  • Uses highly-scaleable 32 bit architecture, with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Windows XP-based environment for user stations.
