UNISYS/AFS User Bank Tests State-of-the-Art Signature Recognition Software

Leading UNISYS/AFS User agrees to beta test DATAVISION's S5000 and S5000i Signature Recognition and Fraud Avoidance Software.

Working with native Unisys/AFS EIP and FIM files, the software reads and stores check images, flags suspicious items, and allows check images and other customer data, such as signatures, to be viewed securely from branch locations through a Web browser. No changes to the existing AFS software is required.

The advanced Signature Recognition and Fraud Avoidance software makes recommendations about those items requiring further review, and presents them to bank personnel for a final decision.

Check images and customer data such as signatures, signature cards and other auxiliary documents may be remotely viewed at branch locations using a secure Web browser.

With the Series 5000/5000i software, branches and call centers have 24/7 access to signature review. This can reduce the number of phone calls to branches to fax signature cards and allows banks to integrate all new signature cards into the fraud detection process.

The S5000/S5000i software is available from the DATAVISION Corporation and its affiliate Millennium Signature Corporation.
