Results of Image Sort
Above we see a "random" signature captured. The next screen will show the database of signers. The Image Sort routines will order the images based upon how closely they match the sample, and then assign a probability to each image, starting with the best match first.
The next screen shows the most likely match and the probability of a match at 90% confidence. Here, Image Sort picked the exact match just generated (not much of a test, so far)
By pressing the "Step Next" button images are now presented in the order they match the original. There were 6 of 80 images which matched with an 85% or greater likelihood. By the time we get to choice number 7 the image is degraded enough that only 69% probability is assigned. By choice number 15 (wrong name) the probability of the match is only 49%. At the last image, the probability is zero.
